Tutkovsky Institute Higher Educational Institution of postgraduate education
Tutkovsky Institute – a Higher Educational Institution of postgraduate education founded in 2004.
During 5 years of its educational activity (in collaboration with specialists of academic institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), sectoral institutions and educational institutions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine) the Institute has obtained a substantial practical experience in training of specialists of the geological industry.
In 2009 the Institute has initiated an edition of «The Collection of Scientific Papers of the Tutkovsky Institute» to be followed by its certification in accordance with requirements of the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of Ukraine in the field of " Mining of Minerals"," Geophysics” and "Geology". The publication of informational and methodical materials of the Institute will be also provided.
Efforts and experience consolidation of the best specialists of different generations and directions of activity for the sake of geological science development and Ukrainian specialist’s adaptations for international cooperation and work as in Ukraine so abroad.
Tutkovsky Institute in collaboration with the Ukrainian Association of Geologists has launched the program «Professional Development of Specialists of the Ukrainian Oil & Gas Industry for the International Co-operation and Employment in Western Companies». The lecture tours of outstanding scientists of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) and the European Association of Geosciences and Engineers (EAGE) are also planned.
The trainings of the new generation of professionals which will be armed with up-to-date geological survey technologies, have a goal to assist to the more rapid integration of the Ukraine into European and World community
On the 14-15 of June, 2011 Dr.Jaap C. Mondt has carried out the course of lecturers “What Geophysical Data not to use” and “How to combine the various kinds of geophysical data” at Higher Educational Institution of Postgraduate Education “Tutkovsky Instutute”.
On the 14-17 of June, 2011 Higher Educational Institution of Postgraduate Education “Tutkovsky Instutute” in association with the State Committee of Mineral Reserves of Ukraine has successfully carried out the course of lectures “Geological and economical evaluation of oil and gas fields” .
